1 1/2 years pending!

@Sega So, the Wii? :P
(And yes, I'll be the first to admit I was a putz in 2017. Though I still prefer the PS2/Wii version.)

Other people: *detailed explanation of why one version is better than the other based on many, many things like gameplay, 100% rewards, etc...*
My simple brain: Better console, better version :)

My submission has now been pending for over a year 🔥

My submission, has been pending, for almost a full year.

good game
Is it ever warranted is the question.

Was a Sonic Unleashed debate really warranted here?

why are we arguing over sonic hedgehog video game
anyways i like the character talk icons thumbnail, it looks a bit funny

I think ultimately, it amounts to Sonic games and their fans both being very diverse (and a little divisive), to the point that one person's preferences may sound like utter hogwash to another. That being said, much of my bile for this version stems from both the overly long night levels, overreliance of massive QTE chains, and one specific sidequest in Spagonia where you need to make a difficult climb up the interior of a clock and the "reward" is basically nonexistent. Anyways, I'm a person who likes Sonic R ironically, likes Sonic Heroes and Shadow the Hedgehog unironically, and thinks Sonic Adventure is the definitive high point of the franchise, so I get that my opinions may seem a little "out there" to some or even many people. Regardless, I will not tolerate being accused of "lying" over an opinion difference.

Wii and PS2 are technically there own thing (Wii version is superior in that group, obviously) For the original Sonic Unleashed the 360 version is superior, especially considering that it runs on the Series X with minimal slowdown, and the PS3 version doesn't have a better way of running officially. But the best version of Sonic Unleashed, period, is the Java phone version

Ok so part of the hud it missing like the boost meter, and the time and score thing

I think all of us (except for that doc von schmeltwick dude) can agree this is the best out of Wii/PS2 and XBOX 360/PS3.

drama

@GuyWithThePie Accusing someone of "lying" for having a different opinion than you is not a good way to get ahead in life, or anything but look like a spoiled brat for that matter. Don't flame. Also, 100%ing the Wii/PS2 version a least actually rewards you for it.
Anyways, here's a more detailed analysis of my side by someone else:

(Also, minor note, but given I'm an accomplished completionist including for this series, I'd say it's pretty clear I am actually good at contextually relevant games.)

Don't believe his lies. The HD version is a far more enjoyable experience for those of you who are actually good at video games. And this is coming from someone who 100% completed the Wii version a couple years back.

For all those concerned, Wii/PS2 plays far better as a game. It has far less cheap shots and actual ability to save between the 40 minutes it takes to get through night areas, as well as just being more coherent.

i love the concepts!
