I am making super mario U backgrounds nobody else do it.

@The player 6385: I've already answered why multiple times.

They are MODELS, not sprites.

They are MODELS, not sprites.

And I can't find Mario in NSMBU mode. All this in a another udapte ?

In New Super Mario Bros U mode ?

Where's Bowser and Bowser Jr ?!

@Craxian: Those sprites would be in the game's particle file... which I still don't know how to extract the graphics from yet.

I might just be missing it entirely, but where is the bob-omb explosion?

I hope that when you leave the 3DS version ripping the backgrounds of NSMBU, from what I saw in the trailer are 2D and 3D not like the Wii U version :)

@Metal Mari0: A lot of game engines have normal map support built-in, but if you just want to look at sprites with normal maps applied to them there's a nifty tool you can purchase on Steam called Sprite Lamp that works great.

and how would you do that?

Those are "normal maps". Basically you'd have to put the sprites themselves on a flat plane, and then apply the respective normal map and lighting onto it as if it were a 3D model.

how do you merge the "purple and blue sprites" with the original sprites

@LooneyTunerIan: Good question. The latest update didn't add any new sprites, and there hasn't been a new Costume Mario in two months (the Squid Sisters were in the data before Shaun the Sheep was!).

Any new updates for this game? Or... is that it?

That Cat Mario puppet drives me insane, but it doesn't drive me as crazy as the Cat Peach puppet
btw, I am not trying to hate on anyones rips, please don't confuse me with a butt hurt child, I honestly don't care that the puppet stuff are ripped.
though I'd like it if someone can link me a download to that thing used to make the 3D model pre-renders and view the animations of the models and such

hopefully they are striving to place at least more scenes and more enemies and items

hmm i wonder what will be in the next update...

@DJ_yoshiok I'm almost entirely sure the GUI elements aren't 3D. They look 2D, too.

Also, maybe put the visuals that go with various sounds?
