Y'know I've been curious about and and hoping someone could shed some light on how the flat paper characters have been animated in this game and Origami King, since they're apparently just sprites like in 64 yet they can bend and contort like models.

@Random Talking Bush: Thanks a bunch!

@ACYosh: They're in the Graphics/Panel folder. "panel_tex_high" are for the large images, and there's a separate file for each language.

@DogToon64: I want to see where they're stored in the game's files. Sorry if the previous comment sounded rude.

@ACYosh: In the "Battle Cards" section?
What specifically are you looking for?

Where the heck are the battle cards stored in the game's files

Also I noticed that this game isn't on the models resource. How come?

What's the difference between the sprites and models of the paper mario games? Or just any game.

same smh

@Luigifan1115 It's my favorite Paper Mario game too.

Ah, yes. My favorite Paper Mario.
So far, that is. I haven't played ToK yet because I'm putting it off 'til I finish this game.

True, but still for the new sprites as much as I can’t wait to see them, Ik that things take time, so I rather wait for RTB to get the sprites as soon as he can, not when people want them. Like I said before things take time.

Some sprites of the splash color are recycled into the origami king.

Let's hope people will be patient this time around for the Origami King Sprites.

Someone know about the dust effect??

Any chance to get this game's model and sfx? Because like, the new Paper Mario is on the edge of corner now so it would be nice to get some more stuff from this game..

so... many... TOADS!

Needs more origami.

I really like this game, and with the simple colors and choppier sprite feels more like paper since it just gives the feel of it being paper.

I don't know why, but to me this game's choppier sprite art feels like a downgrade from Super Paper Mario and The Thousand Year Door's more fluid sprites.
Still cool to see some more characters in the Paper Mario style though, like the Koopalings.
