@thejohnston7 Very late reply, but the regular Luigi pieces here are present in Mr. L's texture file. For completion's sake I tried to make Mr. L versions of the ones that were not used or made.

Yep. As far as I know, aside from higher HP and attack power, and the black silhouette filter (applied by the game's engine), the coding for Shadoo Luigi is identical to the Mr. L boss. However early tests for Shadoo Luigi (which are still in the game as unused enemies) use Luigi's low-res model instead, but with Mr. L's animation IDs. This results in some animations not playing correctly on the model, such as his hurt animation being that "jumping with scrunched down hat" sprite that i think is actually totally unused on both Mario and Luigi normally.
Did you know that Shadoo used Mr L's graphics instead of Luigi's graphics?

And bosses don't reappear in this game.
It's literally impossible to fight Mr. L as Luigi. You can't even play as Luigi until the chapter after the last Mr. L battle.
Aren't you usually prevented from doing that by the fact Luigi doesn't join the party until a few chapters later?
As seen if you fight Mr. L with Luigi in the Whoa Zone, They are not one and the same. If they were, you'd probably be prevented from fighting Mr. L with Luigi in the Whoa Zone by idunno Luigi falling into a endless pit or something.
