Interesting detail that's probably an oversight of reusing the graphics from TTYD: The Goomba actually uses an early design from TTYD, with visible soles. This was seen often in early screenshots and footage of TTYD, but was changed fairly late in development to not having soles. TTYD itself has a few instances where they forgot to change it, such as Professor Frankly's pre rendered email screenshot. But the fact that they used an early Goomba sprite for SPM's audience graphic is especially bizarre.
I love how Nintendo took the audience from SPM and turned Sticker Star's NPCs into just those.
