@Sammy Bullet Bill has a better track record of not flinging you over the edge and/or into obstacles or just abandoning you.
I hate that ever since Mario Kart DS: The Chain Chomp has never been seen as an item again, I would love to see it returned over the bullet bill... even though they are the same, the Chain Chomp is cooler.
Everything apart from NEW1, NEW2, NEW3 and the Chain Chomp have been used in Mario Kart Wii. The fireball and wiggler were only used in an online challenge thing, that is obviously offline now.
