DAYUM! That sounds like just what I've been looking for!
Found an emulator on the Planet Virtual Boy website. Its debug mode lets me view the sprites, and I can definitely get the background animations too!
@Loogeegee What method did you find? And are you going to get the background animations (like the Parabeetles) too?

@Taco Virtual Boy's hard to rip!
No emulator currently available can display separated graphic tiles on the fly for it, and many games, this one included, have weird compression errors occasionally if you try to dump them. Also, while the "near" sprites are generally at the proper resolution in gameplay, the "far" ones move all over the place so they're rarely at the raw size.
