Strictly speaking, it's HDMA which affects the stomach shape and texture, though Super FX is used to calculate the values so the description is also correct in some sense, just not in the exact way the ripper described.
80% of the bosses are always cones and balls, that is, circular bosses that deform, but hey, at least I understand why now it uses the FX chip
