WOAH

Out of all of the SNES games, this one definitely has the most charming art style. The hand drawn aesthetic just looks amazing!

A lot of the raw sprites are triangles. That's wild!

@Bluethewonderdog: That's because we're not accepting sprites ripped from leaked content.

I can't find the unused adult mario sprites

Because nothing of their work was left (complete re-rips) and I wanted to have it clear which things were done by which ripper. I spoke with Petie about it and apparently you need to have the original submitter on it, a thing that I will do from now on. Me and parts of the staff didn't know that (this is why it was never a problem before) and the rule was never written out on the site or the wiki. There is actually one exception, which is all about the so-called junk or trash sheets with lots of garbage sprites on them. When these get re-rips and are submitted on multiple new sheets, the original submitter name can be erased. The same goes for deleting sprites from these garbage sheets while submitting new sheets with the re-ripped content.

@Barack_Obama why don't you give credit to the people that ripped the sheets you revised?

Two examples I can think of are the Chomp and Roger the Pottet Ghost sheets since they both have the Chomp Rock and flower pot, respectively, but are also found in Pushable Objects.

Ton told me that the small Milde enemies from the boss sheet also need an appearance within the enemy section since they're in both categories. So duplicate assets in different sections are okay, the same will probably count for the Support Ghost and the other enemies, even if they share graphics and could be combined on just one sheet.

Jah but it shares graphics WITH enemies.

Support Ghost / Blarggwich is not an enemy and should be on a sheet with other harmless NPCs.

Where would it make the most sense to put Caged/Dangling/Support Ghosts, since they all share a "triangle" (recolored from the big Blarggs, except pale cyan (or tan in Bowser's Castle))? And would it make sense to put the water guy from the first castle with them too?

Yes, I noticed that while doing the rips in Golden Egg. This is the only game I know that changes tiles every time within its static levels and the devs probably did this for some kind of visual variety.

Something to note is that almost all level rips (but not the tilesets) are fundamentally inaccurate (if only slightly) because Yoshi's Island randomly generates the pattern (e.g. the pebbles of the Forest Tileset) of the ground. This is hardly noticeable for most of them (you need a side-by-side image to see what I mean) but it also applies to the 3D Stone tileset where the bricks come with different colours.
Of course, it hardly matters and I only made that comment as a fun fact.

@Rainbow Question Mark if they're models, and not animated sprites (i've not looked into this game)

U... unused Tropical Jungle Background?!

Maybe if someone could try to rip the Super FX2-powered ending sequence...
...and someone might probably rip the models for the 3D "PAUSE" and "GAME OVER" letters and send them to The Models Resource...

@Mr. Alien: Not here. We're not accepting anything taken from the leaks.

Where is the beta Baby Bowser?
