The game describes the purple water as acid and later it turns into water.
Not sure if the variant from TerraCraft is even used, but I left it on the sheet as assembled variant anyways.

This map was captured with TerraCraft, a tool from crediar. This is also why there are no layers here or in the other Sylvain Castle maps.
I made this before I knew about bsnes-rawpalettes and its tile map viewer.
At one point I have to rerip it, since the water has different colours ingame (purple variant and a blueish version).
Btw, the ruby in the top right tower wall stays in place, even after you've taken it.
