@XannyXan In the final version, Mario has the colors from his initial design: red overalls, blue shirt, red cap. In this beta version, though, it has the design originating from Mario 3, where he has blue overalls, a red shirt, and a red cap.
i prefer the unused ground tiles more than the original tbh

Aren't those mario sprites already in the Mario & Luigi sprite sheet? Why keep them here?

He's not doing the middle finger, that's his pointer finger (like Sonic.) You can see his other fingers right there on the front.

I like the animated coral, myself. But keeping the Princess's odd proportions seems a tad odd....
Truthfully, I kind of like these more than the final ones.

Do these appear in the original SMB1 All Stars version since they both are using the same engine? I'm kinda curious.
