@JamminJelly Because people keep trying to continue them pointlessly. I'd just like to continue with OTHER THINGS, myself.

jesus christ why are you having arguments in the comments of a sprite website

@mariomaster666
He wasn't trying to say "OMG YOU'RE A SATAN WORSHIPER!!!11", nor was he trying to start a flame war with you. He was just saying that you have a thing for replying to old conversations that don't really matter much anymore, and that you have a number in your name that people say is involved with the devil. Stop assuming things that aren't true when it comes down to you and Schmeltwick.

@Doc von Schmeltwick
There is NO evidence to prove that I am a troll... you have a problem with '666' being in a username? Well that's something. I don't care if '666' is the devil number, and no, i'm not some Satan worshiper. Also, for your information, I used a name generator to make my username. So don't go starting a flame war with me.

At least I'm not the troll with the devil number in the name who pokes minor skirmishes that have gone dormant for months, and shall stay as such :V

A:You're replying to a month-old comment
B:I was explaining why they don't exist in the final. They don't exist in the final game, period, or else hackers would have found them ages ago, as Super Mario World is one of the most frequently-modded games in history.

@Doc von Schmeltwick Can we NOT start the jillionth flame war, please? We've had enough of those as it is.

Where are the effects? (Spiky impact-thing when hitting a shell, dust from Mario turning, Bobomb explosion, ect.)

@TheKidCode That timestamp shows no evidence, instead useing MAGAZINE SCANS with sprites that are OVERWRITTEN in the final, like I said, and they aren't https://tcrf.net/Super_Mario_World_(SNES) here, ergo you are lying, and lying won't fly here or anywhere else. https://tcrf.net/Prerelease:Super_Mario_World_(SNES)#Early_Yoshi_and_Sprite_Graphics Magazine scans.

@Doc von Schmeltwick....
Y'know that's not true right?
Y'know that's not true right?

almost a MILLION HITS because of sprite animations

Oh, those were sprites that literally were overwritten by the time the game came out. I assume you're talking about the ones in the Prima guide for the SNES Classic and not the ones in the SNES Test Program, right? Because those are in the "SNES Test Program" section.

I dunno if this is rude to ask, but is there a possibility of anyone ripping the beta sprites and the unused sprites? Like, tanooki Mario and etc.

I put quotations around Transparent for a reason. I meant the water tiles that give the illusion of transparency by having a checkered pattern of solid pixels and blank pixels

You can also store partial transparency in a PNG.
http://i.imgur.com/o7lK6k5.png < Not sure if all browsers do the checkerboard for transparency but this is a solid blue square at 50% opacity.

Oh. I guess no program ever wanted it to work for me. Weird. Always tried changing to .GIF, I don't know why. Aaaanyways transparency is bad for most sprite sheets, because one of the best tools for simple spriting is MS Paint, which doesn't store it at all.

>You can't store transparency in a .PNG.
Well that's blatantly untrue.
Well that's blatantly untrue.

I think they mean in the Dolphin levels.
