It sucks that the Minakuchi Engineering team wasnt given enough time and budget to make the game more polished

Ah, ok.

@DogToon64: No, most of the content is identical to the final game, so making a separate game entry for the prototype wouldn't be beneficial.

Quick question: Should the prototype content go into it's own game? Or leave it as it is?
