You think SNES Bowser is bad? Look at the NES one!
This is the worst looking Bowser I've ever seen.
These sprites are from the PC version of the game. I guess that version was being developed at the same time as the SNES version so they decided to use these sprites since they show his whole body.
i doubt they had access to anything besides vanilla super mario world sprites so theyd have no idea what bowser'd look like outside of official artwork and his top half from the boss fight
@Void considering what actions Bowser was going to perform, I don' think they could have done any of them with the Super Mario World sprites.
That face is so cursed.
I don't understand why this style is completely different from Super Mario World's. Don't say that it's to make it look like the modern Bowser because he clearly has a green tail in one of the sprites.
