The SNES doesn't support alpha blending like modern GPUs do. It used various color blending modes to fake it instead.

It's indeed Normal Blend, around 125 transparency according to Paint.net. Couldn't get an exact match with my non-SNES tool though.

I have no idea, this is why I added the ingame version as a reference.
Btw, revision is on the way since the vSNES slime is missing its palette and also has an 8x8 ground tile on its layer.
