The game, the movie, and the original story all have in common is a lawnmower. The game deviated further from the movie and book. It's... Weird. But not in a good way. Namely it's trying to introduce so many gameplay mechanics that it can be overwhelming. Constantly shifting from sidescrolling, top-down, and first person. Not to mention the eye strain given the flashing and strobing lights. So here's an epilepsy warning before considering playing this game.

@Masking_Sl0t 8C It's actually based on a sci-fi movie, which is supposedly based on a horror short story by Stephen King... except, it has nothing to do with it. King even successfully sued because of that.

To be honest the name "The Lawnmower Man" coupled with the box art honestly made me think this was a horror game or some adaptation of an obscure horror movie.
