@Soul_ Uhm... I don't know how to do that, and I am not willing to spend time to learn how to. I don't understand code and I was just looking for visuals. Instead, I just went to DKC Atlas and screenshotted Jungle Hijinx's background.

@Cascade Computer Services
Those happen to be HDMA gradients, which are not backgrounds. Please consider looking at a dissasembly of the game to find the code that generated them

Where are the tilesets?

Where's the gradient backgrounds? (Example: the blue to yellow-ish gradient behind the scenery in Jungle Hijinx which you can also see in the game's thumbnail on this page)

You are remembering correctly.

Fun Fact: Most of the sprites in this game were created using 3D models(if I remember correctly).

Intro backgrounds? Here you go.

@diegozsprite(:3) Can't we all just agree the graphics look cool?

also,where is the intro background? you know the one,where cranky is on the griders from the original donkey kong,and also the jungle bg from it?

@MonadoBoy16:Actually,During The life of movie industry the tools that rare used in the Workstation repackaged as Maya.

@Hans-Cuff: Actually, they were made in the Silicon Graphics Workstation computer.

I bet these sprites were made in a really, really early version of Maya.

Mmm, that's good nostalgia.
