@Jammin Nowhere, that's from a hack.

Where's the Link seen in the icon for the game?

zelda 1 hd?

@Spritz There's a difference between altering text and altering graphics. The difference being how relevant it'd be to THIS site. Anyways, I've very pleased to see some competently ripped sprites here now :)

Ok so here is why the sprites here are allowed:
-This game was broadcasted to the public. People were meant to see and play it. It became unplayable after the broadcast, but all the stuff in the sheets above this comment wasn't a secret.
-But the gigaleak content such as Link sprite was not ever shown to the public. Only Nintendo knew. That is why the site administrators fear that Nintendo might be angry if we show their secret content.

I do not speak English, the explanations will not be easy. I'll keep it simple. The game was downloaded from satellite view using an adapter under the console and you are allowed to play it for 1 hour. Some people have succeeded in recovering the game data and made it a playable rom. The bad Ganon sprite has been removed :)

@Mica The comments section of Ganon said that you included a sprite of some sort, but I'm not entirely sure which one. Also, you said they're all from the ROM, but afterward you said that it never existed as a real ROM? I'm not really familiar with the Satellaview games (speaking of which, shouldn't this game along with the others be in that category?), but I think these games can stay on the website as long as they're maintained properly.

@SpritZ, my sprite sheets are all from the rom, no gigaleak content. I only discovered the gigaleak a week ago. But BS Zelda never existed as a real rom, we should delete this section and all BS-X games, it's complicated. It is up to the site administrator to make their choice. :/

@Mica Even if it's a translation, I believe that still counts as a mod. It sounds like this game wasn't even localized in the US (hence (JPN) in the title??), so it should only contain stuff that is from the actual ROM itself even if there's not much there, if this game was even released. If everything or even ANYTHING here came from the Gigaleak, then that's a huge no-no and I have no idea how these sheets got accepted considering the stance on Gigaleak content altogether. When ripping games on the site, I'm pretty sure you're only supposed to rip the content that came straight from the unleaked game. Translations and stuff would probably go to a separate game listing, although I'm not entirely sure.
This has been specifically explained on the website several times before, so it's rather disappointing to see that some people either know about this and do it anyway, or fail to make sure that what they're doing is okay. I know mistakes can happen, but seriously...
@Random Talking Bush Thanks for the response. Good luck. ?

Hi, the sprites come from 4 first dump of the original game (JPN) because the game was divided into 4 parts, it was playable only by downloading and in a limited time., without fan editing, the colors are also officialand, i won't add any fan mod here (Sprite). The Link of my avatar is official but not included in the final version of the game, I removed it :( The intro of the game is not a recreation but simply translated and works great with the BS-X emulator in Japanese.
Here is the original broadcast of 1995 of BS Zelda: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ag4yUsMSb9c&list=PLDJ4e492luVzCnMgfQPHgD-JvLWTDLJdp&index=1.
Sorry for my english, Google trad.
PS: Possible to replace game thumbnail, Link does not exist, thank you.

@SpritZ: Quite possibly... And "Gigaleak" content too, apparently. Looks like I may have to clean things up around here. :/

So... I'm getting really confused reading this comments section. Are most of the things in this game listing from mods/recreations? ?

The game thumbnail should be replaced. Any of the character mods, such as Link (LTTP), Zelda, Link (Young Link), Pikachu, Goriya, and Saria should be put onto a new "game" for each hack. There's a few other neat graphics hacks there too, such as Manual/Soulcalibur II items, Modernized Items (Crosses -> Triforces, Magic Sword -> Master Sword), and L7 Aquamentus -> Giant Rope that can be ripped as well. Though with site policy, please note that I nor anyone else should rip any graphics from the "Gigaleak Restoration" hacks.

Those are all mods. Annoyingly, pretty much all mods that remove the time limit and translate the text also decide to arbitrarily change player and item graphics. Even though that makes ripping harder by, you know, taking out the actual graphics. Sorry, just a thing that ticks me off greatly.

He is actually playable:

Apparently, there are different versions of this game.

Okay, why is Link in the thumbnail of this game? I'm pretty sure he isn't playable.
