@LapisLink I don't think these can be considered pastel colors, considering that pastel colors generally have low/medium saturation, and many of the colors used in these sprites have maximum saturation.
Is it weird that I sorta like the graphics in this game? Not completely but I think "pastel" colors (if you can call them that) look nice.
The bright colors are still agonizing, but at least it's not the NEC PC-8801 version.

@sg85 I remember it was mentioned somewhere, that a South Korean Samsung SPC-1500 had Super Mario Bros. Special as well
wdym, i searched it up and havent heard anything about a third port of this.
