I think it's pretty simple- the maker of this game likely ripped the SMW graphics from the All-Stars+SMW release of the game (maybe because bootleggers had this version of All-Stars) and ripped the title screen from the version as well. I also think they removed Yoshi because they didn't add Yoshi in the game (either because of time crunch or their codebase just couldn't handle it) so they hid this fact from us by removing him from the title screen.

@QuadFactor and to add to your observation, the SMAS without SMW, DOESN'T EVEN HAVE YOSHI IN IT!!! They could've used that version to remove Yoshi and call it a day (unrelated, but has the spiny's face always look like a Kamek?)

Ironic how in a Super Mario World bootleg, they edit out Yoshi from the title screen. Badly, I might add, you can still see his shoes and part of his tail behind Birdo!
