I love how the hub takes place in a Sega Genesis box art template.

I never imagined a hub area being hacked into a game like this. I find it a lot more unique than the original Level Select (and instantly accessible). Since this makes the original screen redundant, does it override it and disable its cheat code? The Boss Attack stage is also a fun new addition, and they did it much better than I expected (skipping the entire first portions of each third act so Sonic would start at the checkpoints before the bosses). The only thing that ruins them for me is the "Genesis box" wireframe and black void which doesn't fit in with anything in the game. Other than that, this hack adds some excellent modern features.
