@Ton The first eight horizanal pixels are shifted up a bit one vetrical pixel on the standing sprite.

@Murph - Nearly! For some reason, one of the palettes is missing, like it is from the cycling yellow for Super.

Interesting that Hydrocity's water palette when transitioning back is the same as Chemical Plant's.

Shouldn't the surfboard sprites be on here as well?

@Mystical Greninja Not only the swing but there's also the sprites when you go into a tree in AIZ which is cool in a way. And yeah, I like this Sonic 3 prototype design more than the Sonic 3 final design we have right now.

Yeah, Tails has no new sprites. Looking into the ROM, the final tile of Tails' sprite is followed by AIZ Knuckles graphics, whereas in the same location in Sonic 2 is code after the final tile

Yep I have to agree, that the hanging on the bars one, is pretty cool..

I've always preferred the Sonic 1/2/CD art style over S3&K's

I liked the sprites of him hanging on the bars better than the final.
