@Fourthestickman: They modified the sprites to remove the 4th shade of blue from the palette. So technically they are new sprites.

It's just the sonic 2 sprites with the s3 pallete

@A983 - For some reason, the palette, which goes from light to dark in the palette line, reverses its order when Sonic transforms. Rather than have one version of the appearance and it look odd, I put in two - the original, and how it should be. There are broken sprites from the final version that also get fixes on their respective sheets.

Also, walk frame 5 is incorrectly shifted right a bit than it should be.

@The Observer Thanks for fixing this. I'm very happy that you managed to fix the sheet by adding the Surfboard and the palettes. :)

@Sf32 - I'll fix it. But the only sprites I placed onto the sheet myself are the Super in movement and Surfboard. Everything else was color-corrected, I didn't touch them outside of reorganisation. Check the disclaimer box.

It's not. There never was a difference between S3Beta and S2's idle sprites. He's trying to say that the leftmost part of Sonic's sprite in your sheet is incorrectly shifted upward a bit than it should be.

Also unrelated, but you seemed to have added back the (non-existent) 2nd frame of Sonic checking his watch. His foot stays still during that part of the animation.

Yeah, that's intentional by the programmers. At the very least, the top spike reverts back to the S2 'layout' for the S3 style. Hence the "minor difference".
