Green Egg Zone
This just looks like the original Launch Base background's contrast was turned up tbh.
I saw that yesterday. I'm focused on the Flying Battery Background right now, so I'll deal with it after that.

There actually is an unused underwater palette in this prototype as well as unused water levels. The water levels are still unused in the final game too, though the palette was changed to be closer to act 2's.
Not likely, sadly. Insofar as I can tell, the water palette is designated to the final open air palette. And I haven't found any water in LBZ Act 1 in the prototype.
Any chance of a variant with the unused water palette?
