You added some badniks, but not others. Why?

A lot of those don't even meet Sonic 1 standards. Plus there's a level of inappropriateness to slapping them in. Some only made it in after looking at it relative to prototype and port content.

No it doesn't, Stego's Nick Arcade sprites have different shading.

Works in the same manner as BBat's intended/in-game palette.

Edit: the Crawl's dirt is not present insofar as I can tell. It's earliest entry in the Protos in Sept 14, and Casino Night wouldn't have any need for mud. The others aren't so easy to get without relying on Digitizer content and the Mobile port.

Apparently Pro Action Replay code 01C1D8:0007 fixes the garbled badniks, at least according to TCRF.
Also missing are Bubbler, Bubbler's Mother, Crawl's dirt, and apparently Flasher in the August 21st proto has a different flashing sprite.

I didn't, I literally cannot find it in-game. I get the wrong tiles loaded when I use Debug Mode, and of the three prototypes I can check for it, it's not in the VDP.
