Hot take here, but Launch Base Zone has always been my favorite zone in this game. The music, the design and colors, the final boss at the bottom of the Death Egg, perfect in my opinion.

@Rayman95Fan I know this may be an unpopular opinion, but I say Sonic 1/CD. Sonic 3's death sprites are just... off.

Which sheet includes the explosions after beating a boss?

@Rayman95Fan So like with Sonic? Well to me it gotta be Sonic 3's version. I really like the redesign the gave they gave to him, with his bigger shoes and hands, his idle sprite mouth, and the smaller eyes, but unfortunately it does lack consistency between his different sprites

What sprites of the genesis games is the best in your guys opinion?

Where is the water effect, or is the same sprite shared between the Genesis trilogy?

@P-Tux7: Those can be found on the prototype version's Special Stage sprite sheet, since that was what they were used for in said prototype.

Which sheet are the red "Debug Spheres" on?

@Awesomeman235ify I haven't heard of such a thing. Do you have any more info on it?

Sort of unrelated, but would it be possible to rip assets from the Sonic Movie 3 promotional cartridge?

@glaber: You mean like the one on the "Ending Cutscene" submission?

where's the death egg that appears at the end of Launch Base? I can't seem to find it on any of the related launch base sheets

Oh alright then

@Squidward578 It's because Sonic 3 and Sonic & Knuckles are classed as two different games by Sega themselves at the time. They have different graphics, different stages (outside what was done but unfinished on Sonic 3 such as Flying Battery and I think Mushroom Valley/Hill), different music (again Sonic 3 has a few leftovers for what would be in S&K, some of the Sonic 3 music are connected to MJ's music team... Brad Buxer & co that got replaced in S&K) and technically even some slight level changes. The only similarity are some of the graphics that are used in both such as Sonic & Tails, HUD, items, sound effects and little bits here and there. While Sonic 3 was planned to be one game and can be made into one game via Sonic 3 & Knuckles (not quite the planned game but close enough), development issues and cartridge costs is why it happened. Now S3&K is considered the canon version by Sega but it is what it is.
With Pokémon, the bulk of the game is the same with the only difference being what Pokémon can be accessed (technically both versions have all Pokémon but some cannot be caught in that version, a couple cannot be caught at all and have to rely on special events), may have different screens especially title screen and possibly different events. It's more like two versions (or an updated 3rd!) of the same game.

@Squidward578: Because Sonic 3 and Sonic & Knuckles are two separate games with mostly different assets (the stages being the biggest difference) with some assets only existing in one or the other, whereas the Pokémon game versions have identical content for the most part.

How come these have to be split up into two separate pages? They could've joined them together like some of the Pokémon games.

@TheStarMan2005 Check Sonic & Knuckles

I cant find The Sprite of angel Island himself, You know... The One that used a Lot of Series like SSXU.
