I think LB is the best zone in Sonic 3
That's generally the type of ground you find underwater.
it looks more like a load of sand under the water
I think it's just the background for Knuckles's version of act 2, where most of the water is drained out...or just the underwater background in general, but without the color filtering the water provides.
When is the evening background used? I don't remember seeing it anywhere in LBZ.
