ok, actually no one cares about how it's named, just name it how you want.
@MS1994 While I acknowledge that, at the same time, it's the only concise name we have for it. Otherwise it's just "giant scary red Metal Sonic."
I do like this style of ripping much better than Dolphman's or whoever's was here earlier, however this is incorrect. Silver Sonic's right arm (our left) is wrong... I'm not quite sure what happened there, it's odd looking.
Also: @Doc von Schmeltwick Titan Metal Sonic is a misleading name, for one that's not the name given to it in Chaotix (it has no name) and two, that is an unofficial Archie name that often refers to the drone-like robot.

Indeed. Ken Penders's (or at least, it was probably his) stupidity is probably one of the main reasons so many people misidentify this as Silver Sonic.
Don't bring comics into this, that is a whole other can of worms.
Silver Sonic was the name given to the one from the Master System game.
@kameronsonic Except it was only "Silver Sonic" in cruddy fancruft. The original name, as seen by below concept art, is "Meca Sonic."

What ever his name really is, he will always be known as Silver Sonic to me.
I'd be fine with Meca Sonic, since there wouldn't be too much confusion with Mecha Sonic from S3&K.

@Deathbringer Yeah. That's the Scrambled Egg Zone Sonic robot. "The Silver Sonic," according to the manual.
Technically Silver Sonic was only ever used as the name for the enemy in the 2nd Sonic game for the Master System.
