@IAmAlsoOnRoblox if there is a remnant of tails, is there a remnant of sonic? Or was he retextured as mighty?
@IAmAlsoOnRoblox They may use the same basis, but the graphics are indeed different. Most notably, Tails' arms are shorter than Sonic's in comparison.

@it's-a-ne-aiman Prototype cartridges are usually overwritten with newer prototypes, or other games, when what's on them is no longer needed.
Someone found a prototype for an entirely separate game called Yuu Yuu Hakusho Makyou Toitsusen which, despite replacing a newer build of Sonic Crackers, still had leftovers of Tails on it, since the cartridge wasn't fully wiped when it was presumably repurposed for that prototype.
Equivalent sprites for Sonic weren't there, however.

There is, however, sprites for Super Sonic in the final release of Chaotix. They go unused.
