@DigitalDiamal You wouldn't believe how many people got Sonic and Rainbow Dash involved with each other, in more ways than one too.
@Dolphman They were? I only remember people making cool fan art of the two series crossing over, unless it's the shipping that started the fights.
I recall when Sonic and MLP fans became mortal enemies during those times. XD
@shadowman44 MLP:FiM was a bigger deal to people than you'd think back then. There's more ROM hacks on this site relating to FiM too, the ones I've seeing being Mario ROM hacks, but I'll say something I do semi-often: Don't underestimate how far people are willing to go for a joke*.
*not always for the sake of a joke and sometimes can be a single idea someone has but still
Now that I think about it, has anyone ripped Pinkie Pie's sprites from a SMW sprite hack? I'm pretty sure I remember seeing a hack long ago of her being swapped into Yoshi's position... :thinking:

I remember watching a gameplay of this hack back then, those were the days.
@shadowman44 I will never forget the ponification of every series known when FIM was such a big deal, but there's some characters I know of never got that treatment.
