@Spicy Spicy it used the data select icon but shrunk down

Is the Sonic 2 styled SSZ icon in the game or was that custom?

Why does this have save select stuff in the icon?

@Gwladys: The content comes from Sonic 3, the 0408 Prototype, Sonic & Knuckles, and the obvious lock-on. Since lock-on content (Knuckles, Super Knuckles and Team Sonic icons, the S&K stages' icons, Zone 7-14 text, the Sonic/Miles morph BG, the Super Emeralds) requires Sonic & Knuckles to be seen, the sheet is put in the Sonic & Knuckles archive. It is literally pointless to separate it into distinct sheets because of the outweighing of content.

these are sonic 3 only not sonic and knuckles.

beanluv is correct, the alternate palettes are visible for only a frame, it's difficult to notice it when it flashes in that split-second. For some reason, Sky Chase and Wing Fortress only have one additional frame as opposed to the second one all the others own.

Sweet! It even uses the Gens Raw color scheme!
Also, if anybody is wondering why there's some zone icons with incorrect colors, I think it's because there's a palette that changes (and is only visible for 1 frame unless pausing an emulator) as you switch to a different zone/option in the level select.

@Superjustinbros All set!

Yeah, this needs to be in Sonic 3 as well.

Most of this stuff should be in the Sonic 3 section. Maybe the stuff for Sonic 3 & Knuckles could have it's own subsection? Like in Sonic 2, Knuckles should have a subsection in the game, maybe called "Extras" or "Lock-on"?
