A fairly decent game and the graphics are good (for 1984 standards, its original release) but can get annoying, still it's faster paced than its spiritual successor Sonic 3D and more fun. Until the likes of MAME and Sega Ages Memorial Vol. 1 on the Saturn, this was the closest arcade port. Surprised that the Master System didn't get a version, would have got a good port.

Still wonder why Sega chose to release what was a downloadable game out of all the other Sega Channel games along with Fatal Labyrinth. The arcade original wasn't well known (even something like Teddy Boy Blues got a Master System version at least) and the reviewers were embarrassed playing the game. Only thing that I can think of was that Sega had some cheap low memory ROMs that they wanted to use as it is one of the smallest Genesis games. Then again Sega logic is something that shouldn't be questioned.

I love this game, but I prefer the Arcade version, even though this game has simple graphics, it's very challenging and fun

It did have one imitator that I know of, namely Super Rub a Dub for PS3. Which some of you might know better as... Bubberducky.

I wished the folks at WB could have taken an example of this game and made up a Tweety-based game based on it.
