They even have the same fucking color scheme as the actual emeralds what the god
Also the Chaos Emeralds didn't have that cut until either Sonic R or Sonic the Fighters...
@shadowman44 I though too that the gems of Castle of Illusion were copies of the Chaos Emeralds, but these weren't appear until 1991 with Sonic, and Castle of Illusion was released in 1990. I don't guess that they are copies :P
Yeah... they're totally not the Chaos Emeralds or anything.
