If you're wondering what about the thin one in the prototype, he was already finalized by that point.

Fun fact: Their names are Hakim, Nahbi, and Fazal.

Added Mustache Guard's walk and fixed the colors because they were all too dark.

Looks like a similar situation, yeah. Went ahead and added a background to that one too.

Oh, awesome! Was I wrong about the Civilian Enemies, too?

Revised. How does that look?

I think so. Having solid black or white is always tricky and transparency always screws with paint users, who are the majority or spriters.

Ah, yeah it's because of MS Paint and the fact that it doesn't support transparency. Those portions are solid black (0, 0, 0) just like the default color Paint assigns to normally transparent pixels, so when pasting the sheet into Paint and specifying black as a transparent color, you're losing those pixels in the process.

I wonder if sheets like this that don't necessarily require transparency of any sort should be revised with opaque backgrounds.

The eyes and sword. This might be a problem with MSPaint though. It's why I advocate for a solid-colored background over a transparent one. :P
