@ZTime: No, I don't imagine it'd be any easier to extract those, if anything it'd be more difficult to extract instead.

Yeah, to add onto what Yawackhary said, the tool that's out there to extract the PS2 version has issues and the sprites don't extract correctly with it. My Tron Bonne rip here consists almost entirely of sprites from the Dreamcast version instead because of which (despite this being in the PS2 section), as from my experience the PS2 tool exports buggered palettes (using my sprite sheet as an example, the Servbot's food cart was greyscaled instead of being the correct palette) and layers sprites incorrectly (Tron appeared behind the Gustaff for instance).

Might as well mention a story. A looooooooooong time ago, Dazz managed to rip all of the fighters from the PS2 version of the game. Since tSR was much smaller in its early days, only a few people took his offer of sheeting the rips. We did based on our fav characters (I chose M.Bison/Vega/Dictator, Deathbringer chose Juggernaut). RTB did it later due to the extra palettes (think the Dreamcast version was mentioned, probably ripped from that version too). Tried to find the thread on the forums but the bad news was that Dazz's computer exploded and the files were lost.

RTB mentioned that the PS2 sprites seemed to be bugged when extracted. So yes, perhaps not an easy game to rip.

This really needs to be updated.
