I think Climax pardon the pun, rushed making the game because the files are all over the place. Weirdly the French title screen was found at COLLDAT3 while the others are at SCREENSP. Where you expect to find title screens (TITLEPSX and TITLETGA, yep the game uses TGA files) instead has the non-English Load/Save Menu and various win/lose screens plus the Track Select.
