the first sprite in the "used in the demo's instruction manual" (the one that's not holding the bowl with food) is actually used in the game. It is seen when you spare her 13 times and then choose the fight button and attack her.

@amongusiscool20000 wrong the blank face is used on the lost souls fight.
i think the blank unused faces are faces toby is allowing us to customize, why else would it be blank? unless he didnt feel like making another face and he left it in the game's files

@olakase123lol Some of the faces can be found at http://www.spriters-resource.com/pc_computer/undertale/sheet/76326/ So they might be there. (Toriel's battle face works weird)
