@Seth For instance, the recreations of the pre-release Super Mario World sprites that were legally shared before the gigaleak happened are in the Mario customs section.
I mean, I see no reason that these shouldn't be treated the same as any other sprites if they are pixel-perfect recreations. That is, if they just are straight up the exact same sprites, I don't see why being a recreation would change anything.
Don't recreations usually go in custom/edited?

Shouldn't recreations be disallowed then? Kind of a strange thing since recreations could introduce inaccuracies. Maybe it's just me, though.
@Coli_22 I'm pretty sure they recreated the sprites pixel by pixel instead of just ripping them
How'd these high quality versions get found? Aren't there only low-res images of these?
