...Been awhile since I played this, have I? Normally in this kind of game, you just pick a fighter or two and go for the final boss, with a prolouge and epilouge of that character's storyline. I guess there's more to this game's story than I originally imagined...
To be fair, Hashi's life was ruined by his sidekick, Noroko kind of got what she wanted, and The Prince gets what he wants.
In context, all of the other's lives have been ruined by this thing at some point (Ananzi having her heart stolen, Animus are being forced into it's servitude, etc.)
