Oh Cool a Fan Project! Cease and DESEACE! :)

Ah yes the Ultimate Mario Maker

i will rip smbx2 sprites (its easy)

I remembered SMBX2 had at least one sprite sheet here and was curious if any more had been uploaded since. I know there's some original block and NPC graphics we could probably compile into one or more bulk sheets, assuming the rest of the team would be on board.
It is interesting that X2 and 38-A graphics are grouped together given that they are, in fact, two separate engines -- SMBX2 is an expansion of Redigit's original SMBX package with a surrounding framework hooked into the 1.3 executable, while 38-A was built from the ground up as its own software by a separate developer. There is some overlap between the two and both used 1.3's assets and base features as a starting point, but by and large they're different projects with different physics, file formats and specifications, programming languages, etc. That's why each engine's community has largely dropped the version number-based names, to avoid people thinking they're different iterations of the same codebase.
The qualifiers in the sheet titles are appreciated, but I agree with Void that it'd be nice to at least have separate sections. At the same time, I can understand if the staff might not see the need for it with how few uploads there currently are under the SMBX umbrella.

One of my first fangames I've played, if not, the first..

Most of the graphics in this game come from SNES games like Super Mario World and Super Mario All-Stars.

I miss this game, I heard that this game was made by the Terraria creator. curiously, a friend of my friend knows a guy who worked on Terraria.

1.4+ is just SMBX-38A!

Why does Zelda have a section all to herself?

@Bromaster in the unofficial super Mario bros. x2

@Bromaster I Dont Know AND Dont Want To Know

When do you ever play as Zelda?

awesome

@beanluv I think seperating 1.3 and 2.0 stuff into different sections would be enough. Making a seperate page for 2.0 would be kinda pointless imo, as 2.0 is basically 1.3 with more stuff.

Seriously, if SMBX 2.0 is gonna be on here, at least have it be a seperate game (or section in the game) as it's annoying. Plus, things like the Zelda sprites are not from the original, so it's basically just saying if I made custom sprites replacing one of the characters, it could be uploaded as a "rip" from the game.

Geez. The disparity in quality between Link and Zelda is astonishing.

SMBX is pretty easy to rip lol, I literally ripped Link fully in 30 minutes.
Too bad I was declined to somebody else

@PikaChris Although it isn't that hard to rip them.

I believe you have version 2.0, which is currently in beta. Also, I've got all the sprites beanluv was talking about.

@beanluv: Yeah, me and the other staff members were questioning the version number at the end. I'll go change it back to what it was beforehand.
(EDIT: Overruled. Hm.)
