@SonicTheCreditCard, @PHArthuroGames: The "Get Blue Spheres" sprites were only meant to be seen against a black background, as that was how they were originally drawn.

@Spicy Spicy They may have shaded it manually, but I'm positive that it initially began as a 3D model. Using pre-rendered assets for 2D games isn't nothing new-- in fact, it was quite prevalent during the 90s (with Donkey Kong Country and Kirby Super Star being the two examples that come to mind for me.)

why do the NO WAY! NO WAY? sprites look like that? the original S&K sheet had the eyes and goggles and stuff like that filled in, it's as if someone improperly removed the bg from them
