@Boomerwrong: Sorta yes, sorta no. The "Continue" animation has slightly different shading for his shoes for whatever reason.

I think the continue screen sprites are the same as in HPZ Cutscene.

Poor Knux got the short end of the stick with the sprites in this game. I don't what's worse, his pink palette or his weird animations.
@someguyonline It's probably in the sprite files of Sonic Mania. I'm not 100% sure of that, but I think it is.

@PapsTheEchidna121: You could just use the Magic Wand (depending on which image editing program you use) to select the sprite box and delete it.

Please make the sprite boxes smaller.
There is actually a glitch palette used in 1.03 and prior when Super Knuckles enters the Final Phantom Portal in TMZ2, which makes him make more red than the actual sprites. The reason why it probably isn't here is because glitch palettes probably aren't shown in the palettes.

If you beat the Titanic Monarch boss with two Knuckleses, the alarm's red tint will cause the second one to look like ********** from Chaotix, also known as "Wechnia" (source). Is it possible for that palette to be found and ripped?
