Wouldn't you know it, I had the "Alternate" and "Normal" palettes flip-flopped all along (the default palette for Tails's sprite sheet doesn't match the one and gets replaced by the one in the GameConfig). Whoops.

Guys, why is the new sprite sheet so big? It causes Game maker to go what seems like 3FPS

Huh, I thought the Tail and Body would be separate, I guess they are not for a lot of them. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
@Snessy the duck: Yep, I know. I'd like to be able to find it in the game's files, though, as taking it from a screencap makes it a bit brighter than it should be.
(EDIT: Seems there's no true palette to the underwater colours, seems like it's additive-based. Palette mods seem to work fine instead of changing to something completely different.)
