Actually, that Peelout-swirl hybrid sprite IS used :P
Activate Super Peelout mode and the frame before he uses his peelout sprite, it uses that transition sprite

The Mean Bean Machine sprites are missing.
Man, this is so unorganized... I'll try to improve it.
I've a feeling alot of Sonic Genesis Sprite Artists are going to be very pleased as to what they can do with these Mania-Styled Sprites of Sonic, Tails and Knuckles. :)

Anybody notice that the Sonic CD "I'm Outta Here" sprites are here? They're shaded and styled to fit Mania, but the only new frame is the one with his eyes closed.

We just need the Spindash Dust, Drop Dash Dust, Super Sprites (there aren't alot) and palettes and we'll be set.
I just wonder why they went for the lighter palette, Classic Sonic was dark colored except for Generations and the 3D Blast main menu.
Also yikes that "head-shaking" thing is making me uncomfortable, I mean the spines stay in the same relative position in accordance to the camera.
