This reminds me of the memes where people show an object and it's name, then remove a syllable from the name and show the object modifying accordingly. "Sonic" *that guy* "Snic" *him*
@Heitorsant They didn't tho, they just stopped using them. That means if you go look for them in the files, you will find them with ease. Also, the code can in theory be brought back to life, but sadly, the more the game updates, the more some things don't work like the old code intended to, and that's why the code no longer works nowadays. R.I.P Snick, you will be missed.

I now realize zips are more easy to manage cus I don't have a list of 1000 sprites I don't need when I need like 5 sprites I can just download the zip and delete them plus if a sheet has too many sprites it turns into 1 pixel when you import it
Snick will always be with us.
Did a slight update to this -- added an addendum to the readme regarding his appearance (or lack therefore of) in the final game, and since they were in a ZIP anyway, replaced all of the sprites with padded versions akin to the Peppino and The Noise submissions I uploaded earlier and removed all the redundant frames in the process (about half of them were duplicates).
What do you get when Sonick loses an o? This guy.
Fun fact: Did you know that Snick's taunts are actually based off of some Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog YTPMVs?
