@Gulliblepikmin: I'm not going to ask how that happened, but I replaced this submission with a re-rip, so that shouldn't be an issue now. Also included a few sprites that were somehow missed in the process.
This sheet should probably be redone, because many pixels are slightly off-colour from what they should be, for some reason. If you use the magic wand tool in an image editor, it becomes very obvious.
Also, the discolouring affects some of the sheet's background's pixels, and I checked the Chapter 1+2 demo's files, and the issue isn't there, so it's not a problem with the original sprites themselves.

how do you know the text box is made with draw_sprite()?
If your wondering, the beam of light he enters isnt a sprite, its created with a ()draw command, same with the non-dark-world text box
