@Stepher Actually, it is! Since older cartoons were usually in black and white, there would often be inconsistencies in the illustrations for them, this is most evident with older pieces of Mickey Mouse related merchandise, where he would often be depicted with Yellow Gloves, Despite the fact that (to my knowledge) he only ever appeared with yellow gloves once!
It reminds me of how Mario used to sometimes be drawn with yellow gloves, like in old Nintendo Power magazines, when his color scheme was all over the place.
Um, is their hands changing from yellow to white supposed to be a reference to 30’s cartoons as well?
