@funny words magic man Unless you're playing on the Xbox 360, only the Pink Knight, Blacksmith and (technically, and also depending on platform) Hatty are paid characters. The rest are unlocked either through arena completion, game completion as specific characters or completion of Insane Mode levels.

I love how the Red Knight's portrait bears so much resemblance to the LowTierGod "YOU SHOULD KYS... NOW!" meme.
@Peltisan I believe most of the others are paid DLC.
I thought there were only 9 playable characters what the hell is this
