It oh-so baffles me how little Nintendo actually understands how SMW's stylizations actually are....at least they gave the big guys ones resembling the intended palettes this time.....

Are the laser beam sprites unrippable?
So excited for Mechakoopa sprites
@Altzer Super Mario World uses pillow shading on a lot of sprites even in the original game. Super Mario Worlds' art style is also inconsistent.
@MatiasNTRM, None of the games color styles palettes follow the NES and SNES Limitations in general.

I really hate the pillow shading on the snowball. Looks ugly.

For some reason that bowser reminds me of the bowser seen in the edutainment mario games for the SNES
I don't think that is the case. If you compare the 2 sprites, the snow ball has a more 'oval-like' shape, where as the SMW Iggy/Larry fireballs are more rounded. Also the shading is different as well, despite being pillow-shaded.
@N-Mario The snowballs seem to be based off the fireballs Iggy and Larry throw.
What is considered SMW style at this point? Like, even the snow balls are pillow shaded. So are they not even trying any more?
I see Spike follows the same non-SMW style that Hammer Bro, Sledg Bro, Bowser, Jr, and Boom Boom use.
Lowkey though Bowser is still fucking terrifying in this style
