I just realized something...
Why does Fire Mario have different player carrying sprites than Regular Mario? It makes absolutely no sense.

@Doc von Schmeltwick that's me!

It does seem a little odd at the current juncture for all to be on the same sheet, I think maybe a line could be added between each character to better find the differentiation while scrolling quickly. However, I also think anyone who tries to sprite on, say, a phone, is a bit of a doomba.

I do admit, however, that i really should've been less jerky about it, but I guess today's just not good for me. I apologize

No, but seriously though I don't actually use a computer. If I did, then I would be less bitchy about this, because it would be able to handle it. What I use crashes frequently with big images, even corrupts them sometimes

@Random Talking Bush Bold of you to assume I use a computer to make sprites.

@JacobLeBeauREAL: If your program can't handle a sprite sheet that's 158KB then you need to stop trying to run your computer off a literal potato.

@Random Talking Bush God forbid my program can hardly handly big sheets. What a fucking crime. I don't even hate "big sheets", I just hate it when it's big for no reason when you can just upload separete sheets for each character. For goodness sake, imagine if you did this with Mania or the original SMM

@JacobLeBeauREAL: Fine, lemme go make a bunch of new sheets JUST FOR YOU to match your expectations.

There will now be one sprite sheet per sprite since that way it's impossible for things to be "too cluttered" or "not grouped properly". /s

Also what does (Sic) mean

@Random Talking Bush That's ONE character. This is Four...and Yoshi...and powerups.

@JacobLeBeauREAL: Jesus tap-dancing Christ if you seriously think that this sheet is "unnessesarly (sic) long" then you must not have ever seen a Metal Slug character's sprite sheet.

There are much bigger sheets on the site, and with the rest of the content coming, grouping the characters seems to make more sense to me than splitting them up. Otherwise this section will be overcrowded.

@Petie my main issue is just having the 4 characters (plus yoshi and powerups) share a sheet. It makes it a bit unnessesarly long. Wouldn't it make more sense to separete them?

I fail to see how this is unorganized but if you think you have a better way to do it, you're welcome to give it a shot.

@Petie Alright I will. I'll organize the sprites for each character in a different enough way, amd catagorize them as well

@JacobLeBeauREAL You're really vocal for someone who doesn't appear to be contributing in any way. If you think RTB's sheet is so poorly made, why don't you go ahead and see if you can do better instead of just publicly calling him out (never mind changing what you view wrong with it when your views are questioned)?

@Random Talking Bush Because it's too cluttered. It's not grouped correctly, and it's unnessesarly long. C'mon man, you're better than this.

@JacobLeBeauREAL: Why? This sprite sheet is technically smaller than the Mighty spritesheet of mine you complained about earlier. And plus, if you're complaining about me grouping things together, then you obviously don't know me too well.

@Murphmario: If I had to guess, Nintendo updated said animation at some point in time, but forgot to do so for Fire Mario's sprites for whatever reason.

BUT ANYWAY. Just to put this extreme nitpicking to rest, the reason why I grouped all of the characters together on this submission (and by extension the others on this page) is for the same reason why sheets like these ones are grouped together. They all serve the same purpose, basically (in this case, being the player's avatar). Plus we've already got like 30 other sheets that are "Mario & Luigi" on the site already, and why would I leave the Toads out just because they're Toads and not just a recoloured Mario? (I kid, I kid.) And the game considers the other characters to quite literally be reskins of Mario (so much so that their filenames have _2, _3 and _4 at the end).
And also the fact that I prefer having more "meat" to my own sprite sheets, organizing things in a logical manner and applying labels to animation frames, to let people know which of the similar-looking sprites is for which animation -- if I kept it like it was for my original SMM1 sheet it would've been frustrating due to Toadette having a lot more unique frames compared to the others. And it's not like I'm throwing together random, unrelated things onto an automatically-sheeted PNG and calling it a day! I take my time with my submissions to make them presentable. And common sense still applies for my submissions, too, if you look at the Super Mario Maker page you can see why I didn't group the New Super Mario Bros. U enemies together -- they aren't uniform (in other words, their sprites are inconsistently-sized and don't have the same number of animations), and take up a lot more size in comparison -- both in dimensions and kilobytes!
